What's Up? A Special Board Meeting Announced for 2 Days Before a Regular (Already Scheduled) Meeting.

The RIH BOE will be holding a Special Meeting on 5/28 "to discuss personnel matters", and action may be taken. The discussion will take place behind closed doors, but the Board might reconvene in public to vote on something.

The Board announced at its last meeting that it had a Superintendent Contract which had been approved by the county Superintendent and they expected to vote on it at the next regular meeting (May 30).

I'm curious what came up that required a Special Meeting and could not wait two days for the Regular Meeting on May 30.
