Special "Closed Door Meeting" Scheduled

The RIH BOE has announced a "Special" Executive Session Meeting on Thursday Jan 18 at 7pm at the BOE office at Indian Hills High School.
The Board plans to sneak behind closed doors to discuss the Superintendent Vacancy. Note that the Search Process should be a PUBLIC DISCUSSION. This Board, led by Kim Ansh and Marianna Emmolo, is instead going behind closed doors to prevent the transparency they campaigned on, and to which the public is entitled.

In response to an email I sent to the Board this morning, I have been informed the meeting will be changed to a public meeting.
Update at 6:30pm:
It's official, the RIH BOE Special Meeting at 7pm on Thursday Jan 18 has been changed from a closed door meeting to a PUBLIC session (as it should have been). The location has been changed from the Board office to the Indian Hills High School cafeteria. The only item on the agenda is Superintendent Search Process Discussion with Consultant.
