The Position
The Board of Education is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of superintendent of schools to commence on or around July 1, 2024. This initial announcement will be supplemented by a Leadership Profile that will consist of desired characteristics, required qualifications and experience. The Desired Characteristics are being developed by the Board for posting on or about February 14, 2024.
Minimally, applicants must have multiple-year, successful, executive-level, educational leadership experience in a district of comparable size and scope. Experience in communities with similar educational values and expectations is highly desirable.
Candidates must possess a New Jersey School Administrator Certificate or be immediately eligible to obtain the same.

A multi-year contract will be offered with compensation in the range of $268,000 per annum subject to actual experience, qualifications, and negotiations. A benefits package similar to other district certificated employees will be offered.
